About Us
BadBoyz is a non-profit football Organization based in Canton Ohio. We are committed to instilling confidence, character, self-esteem, honesty, integrity, loyalty, commitment, work ethic, team work, humility, discipline, sportsmanship, leadership and RESPECT in our children. We believe these values are important to their growth. We will provide our youth with the necessary tools to be successful in all of their future endeavors, we are all about having fun and embracing challenge.
Our President/Head Coach
Shalamar Gilmer - known to most as Coach Wu, born November 17, 1982 in Canton Oh. Coach Wu played midget league football in the city of Canton when he was a child and then turned around and coached for that same league for 8 years, winning 6 Championship titles during that time. He was a star football player during his high school years at McKinley Senior High School, playing varsity from 1998-2002 as a running back and graduated in 2002. He Won The Marion Motley award 2x's, before being inducted into The McKinley Hall of Fame in 2018. He then Coached The Varsity running backs at St.Thomas Aquinas High School in Lousiville Ohio from 2018-2020. Then returned to his Alma Mater in 2021 to Coach The McKinley Senior High School Varsity running backs, while still managing to be the head Coach of a 7u Elite football team, who Won the League Championship Title and was runner up in the States, in 2022 they won The AYF State Championship Title under The Cleveland Muny League.
